Latino Honors Society
President's Message
Our organization was created to unite Latinos within the Honors College, and create a community on campus. We want to help Latino Honors students network, celebrate our common culture, and promote philanthropy in our surrounding area. This means we'll host events ranging from a Latin Grammy party to a political debate on the DREAM Act. Some other events we wish to establish as LHS traditions are Mardi Gras celebrations, finals week study breaks, and networking sessions with successful Latino alumni.
Our organization is unique in that we strongly encourage members to not only participate in our events, but also contribute event ideas that they are passionate about.
