HOST AN HONORS INTERN

No matter what your field, your location, or whether or not you can offer a salary, if your company or organization has an opening for a bright undergraduate intern please let us know. We can get the word out to over 3000 talented Maryland Honors students. Students are eager to intern full-time or part-time during the summer (late May to late August) or winter term (January) nearly anywhere in the world, and part-time during the academic year within commuting distance of College Park. Internships are an excellent way for students to "test drive" their interests and education, and they'll approach the work with energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to navigate a fast learning curve.

If you are interested in exploring this possibility, please contact Honors Director Bill Dorland with questions. If you are ready to float an internship ad to the students, please send Dr. Dorland a brief paragraph describing the nature of the internship, location, preferred hours, minimum qualifications / skills required, whether the internship is paid or volunteer, and your contact information. We'll post the ad; interested students will respond directly to you. We hope this leads to productive, win-win relationships for both interns and mentors.

Thank you!
