Honors Ambassadors

Welcome to Honors Ambassadors!

As you know, the Honors College is committed to recruiting a group of academically talented, diverse, and unique students to the campus. The Honors Ambassadors organization is a great way to share your enthusiasm about Honors. We represent Honors at open houses, question and answer panels, as well as other recruitment-related events. As current students we are a powerful resource for attracting prospective students to the University. Additionally, we are the bridge between prospective and current Honors students. Our members are current Honors students dedicated to the Honors community, chosen through an application and interview process. If you are interested in becoming an HA, please contact us by email.

Honors Ambassador Spring Kick-Off Meeting is January 31, 2012.

Honors Ambassador Student Coordinator applications will be available April 2nd and due April 13. Interviews will be held from April 16-20.

Hi! My name is Mohammad Manzari and I am your newest Student Coordinator for the Honors Ambassadors Program. I am currently a junior Economics major and Mathematics minor, and I have been involved in Honors Ambassadors since my freshman year. Outside of the Honors College, I am involved in intramural sports and academic research. I am very excited to work alongside fellow Honors students as we engage with prospective students and show them the wealth of opportunities available at the University of Maryland. I look forward to meeting new ambassadors and welcoming back our veteran ambassadors for the new semester. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Go Terps!
