What has changed in the Honors College?

Honors students admitted prior to fall 2010 were all invited to participate in the University Honors Living-Learning Program. A select group of these students were also invited to participate in the smaller Gemstone or Honors Humanities programs in addition to participating in University Honors.

Beginning with the class entering in fall 2010, students admitted to the Honors College for fall 2010 or later have the opportunity to express a preference for one of six mutually exclusive Honors Living-Learning Programs, the largest of which is University Honors. Each student has the opportunity to earn an Honors College citation in his/her Honors Living-Learning Program.
